Here are five environmentally responsible practices that we’re excited to implement

We’ve worked with the owners of the hotels we manage to upgrade the lighting, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems and appliances to be more energy-efficient. We also encourage our guests to participate in conservation efforts by recycling their towels and linens and turning off lights and devices when they’re not in use. 

Waste Reduction 

We’re committed to minimizing waste by working with suppliers to use biodegradable and recyclable packaging materials, including for food and beverage containers, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies. In addition, we compost all of the food waste that is generated at our hotels to lessen our overall effect on landfills. 

Local Sourcing 

To reduce the environmental impact of transportation and support local businesses, we source as many food and drink goods as possible from local suppliers at the boutique hotels we manage. We also prioritize the use of natural and organic goods, where practical, to minimize the use of pesticides and other potentially hazardous chemicals. 

Water Conservation 

Water conservation is a top priority at the boutique hotels we manage. To lessen our impact on the environment and save money, we have installed low-flow showerheads and toilets, as well as a system that collects rainwater for use in irrigating our gardens and other outdoor areas. 

Education and Outreach
